How long does the microblading treatment take?

Your microblading treatment takes approximately 2-3 hours, please mark 3 hours in your diary so you are not rushed.

How long will microblading last?

The desired microblading effect will last 12-18 months depending on your skin type.

What do I need to do before my microblading treatment?

For best results prior to your microblading treatment please do not consume any alcohol, caffeine, aspirin, green tea, horse radish or any other substance that can dissolve the blood therefore increasing blood flow. If there is too much blood flow, this can cause heavy scabbing and potentially the scab can take out the pigment showing gaps in your healed brows. If you usually pencil on your brows, please feel free to come with your eyebrows penciled on so that I can see your desired shape.

What do I need to do after my microblading treatment?

After your microblading treatment you will be given after care instructions. To follow your after care you will need baby shampoo, cotton wool pads, ear buds and cling film.

For the next 7 days you will not be able to wear makeup on or around your brows. You will need to stay out of the sun, keep your brows dry for at least 5-7 days until the healing is complete. You will be provided with an essential balm that has vitamins and healing elements that is to be applied 3-4 times daily to your brows to keep them moist.

Your brows will scab slightly during the 5-7 days healing time but with your balm they will be kept moisturised. It is vital you do not pick during this time!

Does microblading hurt?

This treatment is not 100% pain free! After I have drawn the initial outline of your shape, I will have to do the first ‘pass’ which it the skeletal shape of your brow without numbing solutions. Why? This is because I need to see my pressure of blade, numbing solutions draw water into the skin thus creating almost like a feather cushion and potentially I could go too deep. After the initial shape, I will apply numbing solution and you wont feel a thing!

Most clients say they feel as though a few hairs are being plucked at once and some eel little to no discomfort however everyone’s pain threshold varies.

What type of microblading pigment is used?

I use  the highest graded quality of pigmentation from Phi Brows to ensure every result is perfect. I NEVER buy off ebay or amazon as these could potentially be counter fit.
